Microsoft FRx Report Wizard is a new module that simplifies the process of building key financial reports. The module uses a step-by-step, wizard interface to walk users through the creation of critical financial reports that ultimately help drive business performance. In seven or less steps, an individual can deliver accurate and timely financial information from their general ledger with ease. With FRx Report Wizard, organizations can generate one of five different financial reports including a balance sheet, three types of income statements and a trial balance, in just minutes.
FRx Report Server is an add-on module to Microsoft FRx really gets to the heart of reporting challenges. It addresses the two biggest factors involved in getting financial reports out the door: report generation and report distribution. FRx Report Server essentially automates the production of any report an organization runs and distributes on a scheduled basis.
FRx Report Manager is one of the only applications available today addresses the common problems associated with building report books. It’s really aimed at all organizations, small or large, that need the ability to pull together multiple file formats to deliver comprehensive report books to the CEO, board, bank or other groups. It also gives users several delivery options where they can print the report book or publish it to the desktop for more secure, customized user access. That means businesses with operations around the world or that have on-the-go executives may find FRx Report Manager particularly useful.
If you can’t log into FRx it might be a stranded user issue. Please try going to the SQL Server and to your FRx and look for the activity table. Open the table and delete the stranded user account. You will then be able to log on.
I just installed FRx on a new user's machine but when they log in and click on Reports it shows no catalog. What am I doing wrong? This possibly means that you did not point to the shared sysData folder during the install. In order to determine where the install is pointed:
- Launch FRx Designer.
- Click Admin on the menu.
- Click Organization.
- Click the sysData button.
You can compare this location with that of other existing installs. You can also change the sysData location from there.
